As we reflect on an incredible year for TEAM Cloud, we are excited to share the key milestones that have shaped our journey in 2024. It has been a year of growth and achievement, from our market launch to new office openings, and meaningful partnerships. Our infographic below captures the major highlights of this year.
One of the biggest moments for TEAM Cloud was the official launch of our services, marking the beginning of a new era for TEAM IM and in New Zealand by offering a sovereign hypercale cloud service, owned and operated by TEAM IM, powered by Oracle Cloud. We were proud to open new premises in Wellington and establish an office in Auckland. Our conservation efforts also took centre stage with initiatives like the Zealandia Volunteer Day and our contribution to the Waimapihi Bike Track with Conservation Volunteers New Zealand.
A significant highlight was the investment from Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira (Ngāti Toa) Iwi, which affirmed our position as a true sovereign hyperscale cloud provider for New Zealand. Additionally, the launch of our TEAM Cloud Partnership Program and the successful go-live of our second region, Auckland North.
As our Director Ian Rogers shares:
"It has been a busy year for all of us involved in the preparation and launch of TEAM Cloud. The company officially launched its first region, Auckland West, on 1 August this year, and we have our first tenants consuming services. Our support team is set up in the Wellington office providing 24/7 services, and we recently announced our partnership with Ngāti Toa, who invested in us because we offer a true Sovereign hyper-scale cloud option for New Zealand. We are now on the global map of Oracle regions, and we appeared in many presentations at the Oracle Cloud event this year. Our second region, Auckland North went live at the end of November. This has undoubtedly been a challenging year across the country, and I want to assure you that TEAM Cloud is committed to our NZ partners and clients."
