Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira (Ngāti Toa) is pleased to announce that they have entered into an investment agreement in partnership with TEAM IM, a market leader in Information Management Services. This is a notable commercial partnership with TEAM IM who has recently launched TEAM Cloud into the New Zealand market, the country’s first locally owned and operated sovereign hyperscale cloud, powered by Oracle.
The partnership sees Ngāti Toa acquire up to a 33% stake in the group. This investment marks the first of its kind by a Māori organisation, which Ngāti Toa says is a move to invest in its people’s future by proactively participating in a sector that is rapidly transforming the way people live.
